Pressure dissolved air flotation equipment is a commonly used solid-liquid separation equipment, mostly used in sewage treatment projects. Under pressurized conditions, the air solubility is large, and the dissolved air is rapidly polymerized and depressurized, releasing a large number of microbubbles with fine size, uniform particle size, dense and stable. The floating process of the microbubble cluster is stable, and the disturbance to the liquid is small, which ensures the air flotation effect. It is especially suitable for the solid-liquid separation of fine particles and loose flocs.
Pressure dissolved air flotation equipment is mainly composed of air release equipment, pressure dissolved air system and air flotation tank.
The partially treated return water is sent to the pressure dissolved air tank by the pressurized pump, and the air is also sent into the pressure dissolved air tank by the air compressor, so that the air is fully dissolved in the water. The pressure dissolved air water enters the air flotation tank through the releaser and is mixed with the raw water, and the supersaturated air dissolved in the water escapes from the water, forming many tiny bubbles, thus producing air flotation.

The scum accumulated on the surface of the air flotation tank is scraped into the scum tank by the slag scraper and discharged out of the tank, and the treated water is discharged from the middle and lower part of the air flotation tank.
As the most widely used air flotation process in water and wastewater treatment, the pressurized dissolved air flotation process can make the air have a relatively large solubility in water, and can provide enough uniform bubbles with a relatively small particle size (20~100μm), and the overall process of the equipment is relatively simple.
