Process Description

The underground sewage treatment equipment for domestic use adopts the advanced international biological treatment process, which can remove BOD5, COD, and NH3-N. The technical performance is stable and reliable, with excellent treatment effect, low investment, small land occupation, and convenient maintenance.

The design of the underground sewage treatment equipment is mainly for the treatment of domestic sewage and similar industrial organic sewage. The main treatment method is to adopt the mature biochemical treatment technology – contact oxidation. The water quality parameters are designed according to the general domestic water quality, with influent BOD at 200 mg/L and effluent BOD at 20 mg/L. The equipment consists of six parts: (1) primary sedimentation tank; (2) contact oxidation tank; (3) secondary sedimentation tank; (4) disinfection tank and disinfection device; (5) sludge tank; (6) fan room and fan.

Equipment Features

It is buried below the ground surface, and the surface above it can be used for greening or other purposes. No need to build a house or provide heating and insulation.
The secondary biological contact oxidation treatment process uses the push-flow biological contact oxidation method. Its treatment effect is better than the completely mixed or two-series completely mixed biological contact oxidation tanks. It has a smaller volume than the activated sludge tank, is adaptable to water quality, has good shock load resistance, stable effluent quality, and does not cause sludge bulking. The new elastic three-dimensional filler is used in the biochemical tank, with a large specific surface area, easy microbial colonization and detachment. Under the same organic load conditions, the removal rate of organic matter is high, and the oxygen solubility in water is improved.
The biochemical tank adopts the biological contact oxidation method. The volume load of the filler is relatively low, the microorganisms are in their own oxidation stage, and the sludge production is small. The sludge is discharged once every three months (90 days) or more (using a manure truck for suction or dehydrating into a sludge cake for transportation).
The odor removal method of this underground sewage treatment equipment includes both conventional high-altitude exhaust and soil odor removal measures.
The entire equipment treatment system is equipped with a fully automatic electrical control system and equipment failure alarm system. The operation is safe and reliable. Generally, no dedicated personnel are needed for management. Maintenance and upkeep of the equipment are required at appropriate times.
